This past Sunday, the Rescue Paramedics trained jointly with The Port Jefferson Fire Department at the former Maryhaven location on Myrtle Avenue. The exercise simulated gaining access to a patient trapped in an elevator and the subsequent removal via the elevator shaft. The strong relationship between both organizations allows us to provide excellent pre-hospital emergency medicine in any situation.
