This past Friday, the Port Jefferson EMS Academy graduated thirty-one new EMTs who will be serving the community. The EMS Academy consists of an initial EMT program, new member orientation, and field training. These new EMTs are immediately put to work serving the community by responding to 911 calls. The ceremony was well attended by department leadership, field training officers, Councilman Kornreich, and friends & family. If you are interested in becoming an EMT and serving the community, please attend one of our upcoming information sessions.
