Port Jefferson Ambulance currently operates a basic life support ambulance between the hours of 12pm and 8pm Monday through Friday. The unit’s primary responsibility is inter-facility and non-emergent transfers.
The unit is also utilized for surge capacity, special events, and large scale incidents. Transportation can be arranged by calling the Transport Hotline at 631-403-6116.
Transportation must originate from within the Villages of Port Jefferson, Belle Terre, and the Hamlet of Mount Sinai.
