For more than fifty years, Port Jefferson EMS (PJEMS) has proudly partnered with our local public safety agencies to ensure the community remains safe, prepared, and protected.
On Sunday, October 12th, PJEMS provided support to the Port Jefferson Fire Department during a scheduled training drill at the Mankuski Fire Training Center in Smithtown. The drill focused on fire suppression and operational readiness, with PJEMS standing by to provide medical coverage and operational support throughout the training.
While this exercise was designed primarily for fire operations, the presence of EMS resources ensures a safe training environment and reinforces the strong collaboration between our organizations. These partnerships are vital for maintaining a high level of community preparedness, ensuring that emergency responders are ready to act — together — when it matters most.
Port Jefferson EMS remains committed to excellence, teamwork, and the shared goal of protecting our neighbors every day.
