With an MBA in Corporate Finance and direct experience from leadership roles in various organizations, Dean handles matters related to company financial accounting, budgeting, business tax management and human resource compliance.

As a certified information systems security professional (CISSP) with a degree in Computer Science, Dean has over 25 years of experience as a speaker, trainer and consultant.  He has enabled many businesses to meet regulatory commitments and protect sensitive information.  Dean consults and speaks on current cyber threats, testing of security controls and implementation of policy-driven safeguards.

As a local resident in the area, Dean joined Port Jefferson EMS in 2015.  He takes genuine pride being an EMT and active member of this community organization.  The management team, employees and volunteers are passionate healthcare professionals.  Becoming part of the Executive Board in the Treasurer position allowed the opportunity to contribute value to our future success.

Dean is an NAEMT instructor and teaches the EMS Safety class here at PJEMS.  Dean spends many weekends as an FAA Certified Flight Instructor teaching at Long Island MacArthur Airport.
