Port Jefferson EMS would like to announce two upcoming Rapid EMT Original Courses. The courses will be held at the Dr. Mitchell C. Pollack Center
It was great having Girl Scouts from Troop 491 stop by and learn all about EMS.
This group of new members joined the organization, completed an EMT course, attended agency orientation, and finished their field training.
This course is designed to improve integration between law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS) in active shooter events.
Trainings like these help us prepare to respond to complex technical rescue incidents jointly.
Crews participated in the Polar Plunge at Cedar Beach, followed by the annual Friendsgiving celebration.
We had a great time supporting Port Jefferson Fire Dept. at their recent training exercise.
Great event hosted by Stoney Brook Career Center.
This year, eight EMS providers were honored after making the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
